Ms. Ames focuses on litigation, dispute resolution and counseling relating to business disputes, with an emphasis on matters involving trade secret, non-competition/non-solicitation, trademark, copyright, Internet and unfair competition issues. Ms. Ames also has experience in securities fraud litigation, class actions, insurance coverage litigation and reinsurance arbitration and in registering trademarks and copyrights. Ms. Ames serves on the firm’s Practice Management Committee. From 1996 to 2002, Ms. Ames practiced in the Litigation Department and the Intellectual Property Litigation Group of Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Ames also served for six months as a specially-appointed Assistant District Attorney for the District Attorney’s Office in Boston. From 1994 to 1996, Ms. Ames was a law clerk to the Honorable William C. Conner of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. |
