Ms. Jackson handles an array of employment matters, counseling clients on compliance with federal and state laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. She also defends employers in civil rights litigation, including sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination, in both federal and state courts. She provides training to managers, human resource professionals and supervisors on a regular basis. Ms. Jackson also represents school districts throughout Southcentral Kentucky on a wide variety of issues, including providing advice on personnel and student matters and on the interpretation of federal and state laws applicable to schools. She also defends school districts in litigation. Ms. Jackson frequently provides training to school administrators, employees and other professional groups on a variety of legal topics. |
