Mr. Markham represents clients in all aspects of estate planning, from simple wills to complex estate plans. He plans and prepares wills and trusts and also handles probate, guardianship and postmortem estate planning. He develops long-term plans for continuation of family-owned businesses. Mr. Markham advises clients on charitable giving, charitable foundations, charitable trusts and tax matters. He prepares living will directives, powers of attorney, and all other documents related to estate matters. He also represents fiduciaries, both corporate and individual. Mr. Markham also advises non-profit corporations and counsels clients on corporate tax issues. Mr. Markham represents business clients in immigration matters, including obtaining nonimmigrant visas for intra-company transferees and business visitors, trainee visas, employment-based permanent resident status, visas to allow U.S. citizens and others to travel from the U.S. to other countries on business, change of status to permit students to work and visas for family members of employees to accompany them to the U.S.
Mr. Markham is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in addition to being an attorney. |
