ELPO names Rebecca Simpson, Jessica Shoulders and Nathan Vinson partners

ELPO attorneys Rebecca Simpson, Jessica Shoulders  and Nathan Vinson will become partners in the firm on January 1, 2018. Congratulations to each! Read a little more about their work on behalf of their clients and the firm in the biographical summaries below.

Rebecca Simpson

Rebecca joined ELPO in 2016 and practices in the area of family law and mediation. Rebecca is a recognized leader in alternative dispute resolution, serving as the current Chair-Elect for the Family Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association, and she previously served as Vice President of the Kentucky Collaborative Family Network. Rebecca’s  family law practice encompasses collaborative family practice, adoption, divorce litigation, child support, child custody and co-parenting issues, and grandparent visitation, among other services. She also provides mediation services in family law and estate cases. Rebecca serves as Chair of the ELPO Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

 

Jessica Shoulders

Jessica is an attorney who works primarily on personal injury and products liability cases. She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University and graduated from law school at the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, the American and Kentucky bar associations. She is currently serving on the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association and the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky and the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association.

Nathan Vinson

Nathan Vinson is an attorney who works on tax law, estate and probate cases, as well as corporate transactions. He received a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a master’s of business administration degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He also received a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and an LL.M. in taxation from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. He has been an attorney since 2009. Nathan has handled entertainment law cases as well. Nathan is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Alabama.
