A lifelong resident of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Chandler Flynt is a dynamic new attorney whose practice is grounded in a deep commitment to the law. Having worked with English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO) since before law school, Chandler brings both a fresh perspective and a proven understanding of the firm’s dedication to its clients.
Chandler attended Western Kentucky University, where she was a member of the prestigious Mahurin Honors College and Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She graduated summa cum laude in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology. Chandler went on to attend the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where she continued to excel academically.
During law school, Chandler demonstrated a strong commitment to legal scholarship as the Symposium Editor of the University of Louisville Law Review, Vol. 63. She also held key leadership roles, including 3L Class Representative for the Student Bar Association and Secretary of the Student Bar Foundation. Chandler participated in a live-client mediation program, where she mediated family law cases for low-income, pro se litigants in Jefferson County. She obtained a Kentucky Limited Practice License, allowing her to assist underserved clients and provide essential estate planning services. She also had the unique opportunity to participate in two international legal study abroad programs, visiting both Hungary and Belize. In May 2025, Chandler graduated summa cum laude, finishing in the top ten of her class, and was the recipient of two CALI Awards for academic excellence in Lawyering Skills II and Criminal Procedure: Judicial Process.
Chandler’s connection with ELPO Law runs deep, providing her with invaluable insight into the firm’s operations and client needs from day one. Prior to attending law school, she served as a staff assistant, providing essential support to the firm, primarily within the Family Law practice group. While in law school, she returned each summer as a law clerk, further developing her practical legal skills and contributing directly to firm cases and client matters.
Chandler lives in Bowling Green and enjoys staying active outside of the office. She is a loyal Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoys attending various sporting events. An avid traveler, she also cherishes time spent with family and friends.
