Overview

Noah Thornberry, a Bowling Green, Kentucky native is proud to begin his law career in his hometown. Prior to law school, Noah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands, graduating with a perfect 4.00 GPA. He was also a member of the Patriots Varsity Baseball team where he was named a NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2019.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Noah enrolled at the University of Illinois College of Law graduating magna cum laude in May 2025. While in law school, he was consistently named to the Dean’s List while earning two CALI Awards for Excellence in Advanced Legal Writing: Transactional Writing and Real Estate Finance, highlighting his exceptional skills in drafting and his specialized knowledge in transactional and finance-related law. He also demonstrated strong client advocacy skills as a Finalist in the 2023 Intrascholastic Client Counseling Competition.

Before and during law school, Noah gained significant professional experience helping further enhance his legal practice—serving as a staff accountant at the University of the Cumberlands, and as a law clerk with English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law). Leveraging his academic excellence and practical understanding of business and financial principles, Noah is prepared to assist clients in a variety of complex legal matters. He routinely conducted thorough research and drafted memoranda on diverse legal issues, including probate, real estate, civil procedure, negligence, immunity, and wage and hour disputes. His background includes direct involvement in the litigation process, having participated in depositions, mediations, and various court proceedings during his time as a law clerk. Noah is bringing a solid foundation in both law and finance to ELPO Law and looks forward to serving his clients.

Noah is married to his wife Caroline, and they reside in Bowling Green with their two dogs. When not working, Noah and Caroline enjoy spending time on the lake, traveling, playing golf, and cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals.
