During his high school years, Aaron Smith worked as a runner for a law firm. From the first day, he was impressed with the firm and the practice of law overall. With a talent for writing and public speaking, Aaron thought law would be a great career fit, and it has turned out to be everything he wanted. Aaron started his career clerking at ELPO, and came to work for the firm full-time after graduation. “ELPO is a fantastic place to work,” Aaron says. “Everybody works hard, and we are all dedicated to being the best that we can. At the same time, everyone is friendly and collegial. The level of the work performed by the firm and the work environment impressed me.”

Aaron’s practice focuses on civil litigation and corporate defense work. He represents clients in products liability litigation and in personal injury suits, representing clients in claims involving brain injuries, auto accidents, burn injuries and construction accidents. Aaron also works with local governing boards, government employees and elected officials, offering legal advice and opinions on a variety of matters relating to the administration of government.

Aaron represents clients in business litigation and other types of civil litigation, including contract disputes and construction claims.

Aaron is a native of Hopkinsville and lives in Bowling Green now. He is married and has a daughter.
