ELPO employees spent a day volunteering recently for the United Way of Southern Kentucky’s 60 Days of Caring kick-off. The group worked at Family Enrichment Center, Inc., in downtown Bowling Green, doing some clean-up and assembled equipment for classrooms.

ELPO participates each year in Day of Caring, which is a United Way program that encourages individuals and groups to volunteer for a day for non-profit service organizations. In 2016, in honor of its 60th Anniversary, United Way of Southern Kentucky is building upon this original concept with the introduction of 60 Days of Caring. It started on July 18 and ends on the day of the 60th Anniversary community celebration on September 15.
