Attorney Sarah P. Jarboe graduated from Leadership Bowling Green on Tuesday, November 17. Leadership Bowling Green is a leadership development program coordinated by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. The program, which began in 1985, involves nine sessions, beginning with a retreat in April.

During the nine sessions, the class studies the community’s strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge about Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.

This year’s Leadership Bowling Green class completed a beautification project at Rockfield Elementary School, adding exterior signage, benches, trash receptacles, landscaping and trees to the school property. Leadership Bowling Green also purchased signs to go outside each classroom to identify the teachers.
