Brandon A. Girdley Joins ELPO Law as Associate Attorney

Brandon A. Girdley has joined English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law) as an associate attorney. Brandon joins the firm’s esteemed group of attorneys with a strong background in legal writing and research, having most recently served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable William Bertelsman, District Judge in the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Brandon is from Louisville, Kentucky and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindsey Wilson College in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Brandon attended the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2022.

While attending the Brandeis School of Law, Brandon participated in the American Inn of Court as a Pupil member and served as the Editor in Chief of the University of Louisville Law Review, Vol. 60 where he received Runner Up, Best Note for Other People’s Money and How the Hedge Funds Use It, Vol. 60, Rev. 659.

Brandon was chosen to the Brandeis Honor Society and was also awarded the William Marshall Bullitt Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law, the Samuel L. Greenbaum Award for Achievement in Legal Writing, and the Robert C. Jayes Memorial Award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and service while attending the Brandeis School of Law.
