Governor Beshear makes appointments to Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Steve Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Gov. Beshear has appointed Jennifer M. Keach as a member of the Henderson Community College Board of Directors to serve for a term expiring Dec. 6, 2013.

•Jennifer M. Keach, of Henderson, is a senior community relations representative for Western Kentucky Energy. The appointment replaces Monte D. Davenport whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Rose Marie Shouse to the board to serve for a term expiring Dec. 6, 2013.

•Rose Marie Shouse, of Morganfield, is a teacher for the Union County schools.

Gov. Beshear has appointed the following members to the Bowling Green Community and Technical College Board of Directors to serve for terms expiring Sept. 25, 2016.

•Romanza O. Johnson, of Bowling Green, is a home economist. The appointment replaces Kenneth H. Goff, whose term has expired.

•Rick Starks, of Bowling Green, is an economic development consultant. The appointment replaces C. Mike Harris, whose term has expired.

The governor has reappointed Jane W. Harper to the board to serve for a term expiring Sept. 25, 2016.

•Jane W. Harper, of Russellville, is a retired educator.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Charles E. English Jr. as a member of the Public Advocacy Commission to serve for a term expiring July 15, 2014.

•Charles E. English Jr., of Bowling Green, is an attorney at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley LLP. He represents the Kentucky Bar Association.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Stephen B. Pence as a member of the State Fair Board to serve for a term expiring July 15, 2014.

•Stephen B. Pence, of Louisville, is an attorney at Pence & Ogburn PLLC. He represents the state at large. The appointment replaces William P. Malone, whose term has expired.

The governor has reappointed Gibson G. Gosser to the board to serve for a term expiring Jul 15, 2014.

•Gibson G. Gosser, of Somerset, is the executive director of the Downtown Somerset Corporation. He represents the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows Inc.
