ELPO Law Chief Financial Officer Begins Term as ALA Board President

ELPO Law Chief Financial Officer Travis Armstrong officially began his term as President of the Board of Directors for the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) at the association’s annual meeting held yesterday on Tuesday, May 20 in Nashville, TN.
The Association of Legal Administrators is the premier professional association connecting managers and leaders within the legal industry. Founded in 1971, the ALA strives to give these professionals the support they need through education, networking, and a community hub where they work out challenges and innovate together.

Armstrong is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and holds designations as a CPA and CLM. He is Past President, Vice President, and Treasurer of the ALA Middle Tennessee Chapter, and previously served as the Conference Chair for the ALA Annual Conference and Expo in Texas in 2019. Locally, Travis has volunteered with the United Way of Southern Kentucky, served on the Board of Directors for Family Enrichment Center, is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Bowling Green and currently serves on the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation Board of Directors Executive Committee.
During his term as President, Travis will participate in the strategic planning and policy setting decisions, serving the best interests of all members and the Association. He will be relied upon to advance the creative strategies that promote the mission of the ALA and inform members of the polices, programs and initiatives of the ALA. Individuals who commit to serve at this level of the Association are held to high standards of public deity, decorum, dependability, and service to the members.
