The annual Relay for Life in Warren County is set for Friday night. ELPO staff will be on hand to help commemorate the lives lost to cancer in our community and to help raise funds for cancer research.

In keeping with Warren County Relay for Life’s theme of “In It To Win It,” the ELPO Fighters are doing a spin on “The Price is Right” and going with the theme of “The Price Is LIFE.”  Our tent will be filled with props from the show. We will also have copies of our cookbook, Legal Edibles, for sale. All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook go to Relay for Life.

Warren County Relay for Life is held at Bowling Green High School each year. According to the Relay for Life web site, 83 teams registered in Warren County have raised more than $300,000. ELPO holds events throughout the year, including an auction and a holiday gift-wrapping promotion, to raise funds for Relay for Life.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with the Survivor ceremony starting at 7 p.m. ELPO will do a team lap at 8 p.m.
