Surviving the Bermuda Triangle: The Interplay Between ADA, FMLA & GINA, will explore how these various regulations and laws interact in employment law.
Employee health issues can pose a myriad of issues and can leave the most seasoned of human resources managers perplexed over the interplay between the ADA, FMLA, GINA and workers’ compensation. During this presentation, panelists will highlight the responsibilities of HR managers and employees while engaging in the complexities of intermittent leave, requests for medical information in view of GINA obligations, and the interactive accommodation process. Panelists will also resolve questions regarding the most common pitfalls employers face when dealing with these issues.
