Attorney Park Priest
Attorney Park L. Priest was recently accepted to the TIPS Leadership Academy for 2010 to 2011, a program of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Park Priest is a partner and chair of the litigation practice group at English Lucas Priest & Owsley, LLP, in Bowling Green, Ky.

Only 25 attorneys from across the country are chosen annually to participate in this prestigious program, which is designed to help foster the leadership skills of attorneys in the tort trial and insurance law areas.

The Leadership Academy begins in October with a meeting in Dallas, and is followed by three more four-day sessions throughout the next year. The sessions will include an opening retreat and overview, followed by a thought-provoking study of ethics and values. Leadership in individual practice areas and leadership in the community will be the final two topics studied at the conferences.

In addition to the topics studied, participants in the Academy will have the opportunity to network extensively with peers and also with more senior attorneys who will share candid experiences from their own practice and help attorneys hone their own leadership style.

Park Priest is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor’s degree with high distinction in business administration and Departmental Honors in Finance in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate in 1995.
