Travis Armstrong now ALA Region 2 Rep

by Mandy Hicks

Travis Armstrong, firm administrator of ELPO, has been appointed as a Regional Representative with Association of Legal Administrators.  In this new position, Travis will work with the other Region 2 representatives and directors. He has previously served as Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, President and Past President of the Middle Tennessee Association of Legal Administrators, which holds monthly meetings in Nashville.

In accepting his nomination and appointment, Travis said, “having served the Middle Tennessee Association of Legal Administrators board in some capacity for eight years, I wanted to continue my service and leadership development with ALA.  Moving into a Regional role will allow me to do both, while also getting to know many more of our colleagues in other chapters.”

His goal is “to listen to the Region 2 chapters and learn as much as I can from them, then help facilitate the transfer of information and ideas among chapters within our Region.”

Region 2 covers the southeastern US, including Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Travis officially took the position of Region 2 representative at the ALA national conference in Toronto.
