The Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division held its annual luncheon at the KBA annual meeting in Louisville on May 12. This year’s luncheon paid tribute to the 50-year history of the division and had about 100 attendees, the largest crowd for the luncheon in the event’s history.

Charles English, an attorney at ELPO and one of the founders of ELPO, spoke at the event, helping give an account of the division’s early days and its development. Mr.English was President of the division from 1965 to 1966. Buzz English, also an attorney at ELPO and past winner of Young Lawyer of the Year, also paid tribute to the division. He served as President from 1990 to 1991.
