Bob Young, became managing partner of ELPO on January 1, 2017.

Bob practices extensively in the area of personal injury law, handling lawsuits against negligent nursing homes, wrongful death cases, auto accident cases and defective and harmful drug cases. He also has taken a leading role in the American Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Law Practice Division from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, he was appointed to the ABA Legal Career Central Board and ABA Law Practice Division Council. He is a frequent national-level speaker and author on topics relating to law office management and technology and regular attendee at the ABA TECHSHOW, an annual event that showcases the best in legal technology.

The managing partner of the firm is largely responsible for overseeing the firm’s budget, marketing, staff and other tasks. Ensuring that clients receive excellent service from the firm’s attorneys and staff in all areas of law, including business, employment, family, immigration, personal injury, and trusts and estates is critical, Bob says.

Bob’s experiences with the American Bar Association prompted him to want to lead the firm as managing partner again, he says. “In my work with the ABA, I’ve learned a great deal about how law firms need to continue to innovate to prepare for the future,” Bob says. “There’s a renewed focus on technology that benefits our clients as well as our own staff and attorneys. It is my goal to lead our firm into the future and serve our clients well, all while continuing our exceptional law practice and legacy of community service.”
