Three attorneys from ELPO spoke at the recent Kentucky Paralegal Association conference in Bowling Green, which was co-sponsored by ELPO and involved several paralegals working to help create and plan the conference.

Nearly 120 paralegals from all across Kentucky attended the conference, which offered eight hours of continuing legal education credit.

Attorneys Bob Young, Sarah Jarboe and Kyle Roby spoke at the conference. Bob Young spoke on the topic of mediation, and Sarah Jarboe addressed environmental issues in real estate law. Kyle Roby spoke on the topic of trucking accident litigation.

Gaines Penn, managing partner of ELPO, said the firm was one of the sponsors of the conference as an opportunity to help showcase the legal talents in the Bowling Green area. “The law firms in Bowling Green are exceptional,” Gaines said. “Warren County has no shortage of knowledgeable legal professionals, and the paralegals working here are included in that assessment. Their good work makes us all better, and we’re pleased to do what we can to support their work and help build the knowledge base of everyone in the legal community in Kentucky.”
