Eight ELPO Law Attorneys Named 2026 Super Lawyers. One Named Rising Star

Eight attorneys at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law) have been named 2026 Super Lawyers, and one named as a Rising Star.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual list recognizes the top 5% of attorneys nationwide, across a variety of practice areas and firm sizes, who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice. Candidates are nominated and chosen based on an evaluation of twelve eligibility requirements which include verdicts and settlements, experience, certifications, and pro bono service. The Super Lawyers selection process is peer influenced, and research driven, and is made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
The following ELPO Law attorneys have been named as 2026 Super Lawyers: E. Kenly Ames (14th consecutive year) for Business Litigation; Charles E. “Buzz” English, Jr. (19th consecutive year) for the area of Business Litigation; W. Cravens Priest, III (10th consecutive year) for Employment & Labor; Park L. Priest (13th consecutive year) for Civil Litigation: Defense; J. Kyle Roby for the area of Personal Injury: Plaintiff (3rd year); Michael S. Vitale (7th year) for Business /Corporation; Robert A. Young (6th year) for Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff; and for the first time, Rebecca A. Simpson for the area of Family Law.
Sarah P. Jarboe (Environmental Law) was named to the Rising Stars list for the seventh time for 2026. The Rising Stars list is comprised of the top up-and-coming attorneys under the age of forty who have been in practice ten years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state receive this honor.
